Etonic “The Dream Supreme”

The legend of Hakeem the Dream has returned courtesy of Etonic. I’m guessing that Hakeem Olajuwon was known as Akeem back in the 1980’s when he was the #1 draft pick in what is widely regarded as the best draft class of all time, as he was drafted alongside fellow legends Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Sam Perkins, and John Stockton. Nevertheless his presence in the NBA and bizarre choices of sneaker endorsements make his sneaker return all the more intriguing. His first ever sneaker deal came from Etonic, a brand known mostly for their golf and running shoes, and he then went on to release signature shoes under LA Gear and Spalding, both brands that were not seen as high end or even mainstream. Hakeem, who is of Nigerian descent, always advocated that he wanted his sneakers to be affordable and available for all and he did not mind if they were on the shelves of Footlocker or Payless. The return of his Etonic sneaker is legendary in its own right and SNKRBST is the first to have these available to the public! The white, red, and yellow will match perfectly with Olajuwon’s Houston Rocket jersey or apparel. With many different colorways and styles of the Etonic Collection to choose from, you will want to get your hands on these before they sell out.
