MAMBA DAY: 04.13.16

Tonight marks the end of an era as we say goodbye to one of the NBA’s most coveted players – Mr. Kobe Bryant seals his legacy tonight by playing his last official game against the Utah Jazz. Back in 1996, Kobe Bryant was on the road to success with the coined title “NBA’s Number One Draft Pick” by the Charlotte Hornets. Being a 6’6 guard and coming straight out of high-school sounded rather preposterous at the time; but 20 years later, Kobe has proven his worth time and time again on that hardwood floor. From scoring 81 points in one game, to overcoming multiple injuries that nearly ended his career, Kobe’s legacy will forever reign supreme. Whether you love him or hate him, his career will go down in history as being one of the most memorable athletes of all time. What an honor it has been to have grown up watching the greatest do what he does best: win! Kobe Bryant, we will miss you; and in honor of Mamba Day, Creative Director / Graphic Designer, Mauricio Gonzalez has created a few visuals to celebrate this very special occasion. Peep it above and comment below. Also, don’t forget to follow Snkrbst.com via all social media platforms for all the latest and greatest. #ThinkLikeUs
