Snkrbst gets their hands on a Special Iteration Of LeBron’s Shoes!
LeBron James X’s “must be the honey”.
September 2013 Rapper Nelly joined forces with 34-year-old Honey Nut Cheerios and unveiled its ninth slogan from a Twitter presence that is strongly pushing the hashtag #MustBeTheHoney. In commercial ad “must be the honey” Nelly gives Buzz the bee, the brand’s animated bee, an urban makeover, complete with AutoTune, shades, and crewneck that reads M.B.T.H (must be the honey). The general mills cereal brand didn’t stop there. How about a collaboration with NBA’s biggest endorsement star, four time NBA MVP and only the third player to win the regular-season MVP and Finals MVP in the same season multiple times, LeBron James. The new campaign crafted a priceless NIKEiD iteration of the LeBron X’s. The “Must Be The Honey” X’s has only 250 pairs crafted. Many often confuse the “79” on the heel for the production rank, when it represents the cheerios flavor being introduced in 1979. To this date only one pair are on eBay and they’ll cost the lucky sneaker head 6,800 dollars to own.
