Every year, Nike designers and developers partner with Portland, Oregon-based Doernbecher Children’s Hospital to create shoes unique to patients who have fought serious illnesses. In celebration of the 10th anniversary of their partnership with the children’s hospital, Nike will reintroduce five classic Doernbecher styles. Since 2004 Nike has raised more than $4 million for the hospital and released 52 different shoes designed by Doernbecher patients.
