On The Radar: KD VI “Meteorology”

KD VI "Meteorology"

Before KD dominated the hardwood he had ambitions to be a weatherman if his hoop dreams didn’t pan out. The dream of being a 6’10 weatherman was ended when Seattle took him off the board with the number 2 pick in 2007. His dreams of meteorology will live on in the form of his KD VI Meteorology colorway.

The shoe features a stealth black-and-olive green upper, and comes alive with a doppler radar mapping graphic in atomic red and reflective detailing. Topographical map and grid patterns on the upper showcase locations connected to Durant’s journey, appearing as reflective longitudinal coordinates for Austin, Texas; Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Washington, D.C.
