ÌFÉ the indie band from Puerto Rico showcases Rumba, EDM, Ifá, Yoruba, Santería, Caribbean, Afro-Americana, Future Afro-Caribeña, Electronic music, all snowballed into one glorious sound. Their music is an eclectic mix of contemporary dancehall groove crossed with traditional ancestral rhythm – embedded in our cultural DNA.

At the start of 2016, ÌFÉ became a sensation in the underground scene – and the fervor for its sound has only grown in numbers. Their latest track is titled “Umbo (Come Down),” a sonic slow jam coupled with the bellowing of a lover’s chant most recognize from Latin American countries as “Santería.” Take a listen below and tell us if you’ve fallen under their rhythmic spell.
