Reebok announced this week that the famous rapper Kendrick Lamar is collaborating with Reebok Classics for its latest campaign. The brand chose to team up with Compton’s favorite in an effort to inspire and empower future generations. Reebok plans to release the Reebok Ventilator OG sneaker on January 15, 2015 – and in support of the shoe, Reebok has also teamed up with director Anthony Mandler for a short film titled Reebok Presents Kendrick Lamar “I Am.” The video features the songwriter’s hometown of Compton, California – showcasing where the rapper went to high school and where he found initial inspiration for his chosen career path. The film is in black and white to give it a more pristine look. Above, take a look at some shots from the shoot, and below let us know here at Snkrbst.com how you feel about this collaboration.
