This past year it has undoubtedly been the year of the Yeezy. From contests held, to quick strike releases on Nike’s website, to the final release of a Nike Air Yeezy. It was the dream collaboration between music’s Kanye West and Nike that started with the first “Yeezy” released in 2009. This partnership eventually ended with the “Red October” Yeezy II. This model is said to be the last of the collection due to Kanye West signing to Adidas this past December. Still many around the sneaker culture would put any of the Yeezy models in top selection for both favorite sneaker and best sneaker Nike has created. The latter category has been dominated by various athletes, but none more so than Michael Jordan. Now, a music icon has broken through to the top.
Snkrbst has obtained a pair of “Red October” Yeezy II and we here at the office have devised a contest method a little different than we’ve seen.
Stay tuned to Snkrbst.com for upcoming information on the contest. And remember: “The Yeezys jumped over the Jump Man.”
