When the rumors of a new Jordan shoe but ”Not a Jordan” started to spread around in 97, it left everyone scratching they’re heads. Built for the six players who where part of Jordan brand at the time Eddie Jones, Kevin Garnett, Derek Anderson, Michael Finley, Vin Baker, and Ray Allen. The Jumpman Pro was similar to other past models but a take-down model? sure. The Pro had an upper similar of the XII, midsole look of the XI with the flexibility of the Jordan XII probably the first Jordan Hybrid done and we didnt even know it. The “game” shoe at the time cost $150 and the Jumpman Pro retailed for around $120 still blessing the shoe with quality materials and leather. Designer Eric Avar did an amazing job featuring a full-grain leather upper, herringbone traction pattern, carbon fiber midfoot shank, and full length Zoom Air. Slim centers in the NBA was seen in the Pros Vin Baker part of the six but first worn by KG. The Jumpman Pro was the start of the Team line.
