#TBT: Nike Air Zoom GP

A shoe released at the end of the decade, the Neon Yellow/ Varsity Red was one of the craziest colorways available to the public and on NBA courts at the time. Taking attributes from the the Nike Air Afterburner with its ellipse concept Nike’s Alpha Project was  on thier game with this one. The Zoom GP was designed after a ski boot for its rachet lockdown system which many people disliked. But we weren’t the only ones who had a problem with the unusual buckle, GP wore a pair that sported a Velcro strap instead. Designed with rich suede upper and like the ”Glove” incorporated monkey paw in the medial side.
Was the Zoom GP an improvement than the 98 Glove?
