Post Kanye’s announcement of running for the presidency in 2020 at last week’s MTV Music Video Awards, it has certainly piqued the interest of fans and critics alike. The buzz-worthy promotion has now even garnered Kanye’s first cover for New Yorker magazine. Although not the first musician to appear on their cover, he is the first rapper to do so. A monumental moment in hip-hop history that is guaranteed to be added to his long list of bragging rights whenever he goes on his infamous rants. And as far as we know, he may be serious about actually running – so a potential win could also mean he’d go down in history as the first rapper to become President. We believe in you as much as you believe in yourself Yeezy. The world is yours – or so you would have everyone believe. Make this something for all of us to remember Mr. West.
